Clint Eastwood stars as tough talking veteran secret service agent, Frank
Horrigan who has been plagued with guilt since the assassination of John F.
Kennedy. Frank was the agent on duty that day and feels he should have
reacted quicker and taken the bullet. Thirty years on and the current
president is taking part in a re-election and has been receiving a series
of death threats. Horrigan has been called to assist in what should be a
routine research operation but turns into a dealdy game of cat and mouse
with a professional assassin.
