BLOOD DRINKERS (DVD)
Philippine director Deleon crafted this weird and frightening tale of
vampires and the undead seeking to bring their kind back to life. The evil
Marco is an updated version of vampiric Count Dracula, replete with cape,
fangs and a clean shaven head. This unique characterisation by Remy, who
would later play the title role in Mad Doctor Of Blood Island, is one not
easily forgotten. Marco seeks to reanimate his long lost love and infuses
her with the blood of his victims as he casts his evil spell over the
inhabitants of a lonely village.
