Merry MeX-mas

The Merry Mex-mas Show is a musical stocking stuffed with a kaleidoscope of styles. Traditional Latino Christmas Pop- "Mamacita Donde Esta Santa Claus", a Jose Feliciano meets Green Day version of "Feliz Navidad", Country Western & Western Swing "Oranges for Christmas", "(I'm dreaming of a...)Brown Christmas", Ranchero-Navidad "Poncho Claus", Chicano Spoken word "Carlos Moreno", Jazz, Surf, Spirituals (Virgen of Guadalupe's day is Dec.12) "Lordy Miss Lupe into Little Latin Lupe Lu". El turns turns the Blues-Brown with a muy sexy rendition of "Sometimes Santa Claus is Brown" plus a funky version of (have we said Brown enough?) James Browns "Santa Claus go straight to El Barrio". Say it Loud! I'm Brown and I'm Proud! Especially at Christmas!

El Vez will be accompanied of course by Santa's little helpers the world class Memphis Mariachis. And what would the festivities be without the ever Lovely Elvettes. Mistletoe will abound with a myriad of spectacular seasonal costume changes and special effects, home movies too!

Just your average Political, Spiritual, Humorous, Conscious raising Christmas pageant that you've grown to love and expect from El Vez. El Vez has spanned the realms of reality farther than any other working Elvis Impersonator: Saint (the Gospel Show), Santanista (the Revolution Show) and now Santa Claus! So remember... NO EL ...you'll have a Blue Christmas without him.
