Heute und Danach The Swiss Underground Music Scene of the 80's |
Neben den USA und England entwickelte sich in
der Schweiz ab 1976 eine eigenständige Punk und
Wave Musikszene. Bands wie die Nasal Boys,
Kleenex, Grauzone oder Yello sind euch allen
sicherlich ein Begriff. Im Hetbst 2006, also
genau 30 Jahre danach, ist eine Aufarbeitung
eingeleitet.worden durch das Buch "Hot Love" (wo
die ersten 5 Jahre des Schweizer Punk & Wave
beleuchtet werden) zusammen mit zahlreichen
Neuveröffentlichnungen aus eben dieser Gründerzeit.
Alles wurde von den ehemaligen Protagonisten
selbst und im Spirit des "do it yourself"
durchgezogen. Zum ersten Mal können nun all
diese enstandenen Swisspunk Produkte hier
bezogen werden und weitere Veröffentlichnungen sollten folgen...so
stay tuned!
Next to the USA and England, Switzerland developed from 1976 on a self-contained Punk and Wave Music scene. Bands like the Nasal Boys, Kleenex, Grauzone or Yello are surely known to all of you. In autum of 2006, exactly 30 years on, a chronicling process has begun through the book "Hot Love" (highlighting the first 5 years of Swiss Punk and Wave) together with many new releases stemming from exactly this pioneer period. All this was done by the former protagonists themselves and entirely driven by the "do it yourself" spirit. For the first time, all the resulting Swisspunk products can now be ordered here and more releases are scheduled to follow...so stay tuned!
